One thing the modern day hierarchy has not much space for, is the concept of the boss being always right. When the buzzword is camaraderie, teamwork and horizontal growth, a concept heavily dependent on the vertical ladder structure, does not work and any attempt to make it so, can only lead to fragile relationships and structures.

An open letter to
all the service providers and sales people with short memory
span and who are adept at forgetting their customers after the
all important sales is over. Whereas, world over the accepted
truth is that the customer is the king, even after the hard
sell. As Gandhiji muses "A customer is the most important
visitor on our premises, he is not dependent on us, we are
dependent on him. He is not an interruption on our work, he is
the purpose of it.
